Program Information

In 2016 John Philip Newell founded the School of Celtic Consciousness (SCC). He did so in the belief that Celtic wisdom is needed at this moment in time, urgently. It is a spiritual tradition in the Christian household that can nurture vision of mind, strength of soul, and compassion of action.

This is the third annual gathering of the New England School of Celtic Consciousness at Mercy by the Sea, a place to nurture a community of shared vision and spiritual practice for transformation in our lives and world. Teachings by John Philip Newell will focus on the central themes of Celtic Spirituality, the sacredness of the earth and the human soul. The theme for the third year is ‘Dreaming the Way Forward’ and will examine the teachings of Alexander Scott, Kenneth White, and George MacLeod.
