Rebirthing of God: The Spirit, the Earth, the Human Soul

October 25-27, 2013

Trinity United Methodist Church

Denver, Colorado

Join us for a weekend with the Reverend Dr. John Philip Newell, internationally acclaimed expert in Celtic Spirituality. Newell, an ordained Church of Scotland minister, brings his message and passion for the oneness of all of God’s creation and peace among the great wisdom traditions. Over the past several years, John Philip has led week-long seminars at Casa del Sol, spiritual center at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. He has conducted these seminars with Rabbi Nahum Ward-Lev and Muslim scholar Rahmah Lutz whom he calls “my Jewish brother and Muslim sister whose teachings feed my soul and whose souls feed my longings for peace.”

We are excited about the message that John Philip brings for intergenerational and interfaith participants. The weekend’s focus on Rebirthing of God will explore a spirituality that is intimately linked to the natural world, open to the treasure of other religious traditions, and grounded in the daily practice of prayer and meditation.
